How do I determine if I am a graduate of an accredited or non-accredited dental program?
Most internationally educated dentists are graduates of non-accredited programs.

How much does the registration and licensing process cost?
There are two different ways to become registered and licensed:
- National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Qualifying or Degree Completion Program
If you decide to complete the NDEB Equivalency Process, please review the fees posted on their website.
If you decide to complete a Qualifying/Degree Completion program, costs will vary depending on which institution you choose.
How long does the registration and licensing process take?
The process can take over two years to complete. It may take longer if you decide to complete a Qualifying/Degree Completion program.
How can I become registered and licensed to work as a registered dental assistant in Manitoba?
Dentists who are graduates of non-accredited dental programs may apply to write the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (NDAEB) examination.
