Dental Association Act

The Dental Association Act is a statute of the Province of Manitoba. It gives the Dental Association of Manitoba the authority to regulate the professions of dentistry and registered dental assisting. The Act defines the practice of dentistry and registered dental assisting, and the activities that are within the scope of the professions.

The Act makes it compulsory for anyone practicing dentistry in Manitoba to be registered and licensed with the Manitoba Dental Association. Registered dental assistants in Manitoba must be certified and registered with the Manitoba Dental Association.
