Information Regarding Hospital Privileges
MDA members seeking hospital privileges in an urban or rural facility, should contact the Medical Administration Office at Shared Health at (204) 926-8005 or [email protected] to inquire about the process.
For privileges at Long Term Care (LTC), Non-Hospital Surgical (NHS) and Not for Admission (NFA) facilities – please contact the facility directly for more information on their application & credentialing procedures.
If a facility requires a Letter of Good Standing, the MDA member can contact the Director of Regulatory Programs at (204) 560-0846 or [email protected] to make the request.
The final determination of privileges a dentist will be granted is based on the facility or institution’s policies and Credentialing Committee’s decision.
