Compensation:

$50.00 – $55.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Smiles of Canada is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team in Brandon, Manitoba. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and patient-focused professional to join a growing practice and start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform dental prophylaxis including scaling and polishing
• Take and process dental radiographs as required
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and preventive education to patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Oryx or similar software
• Manage patient scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow
• Ensure adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Provide professional and compassionate care to patients of all ages
• Communicate treatment information effectively, including with bilingual patients when applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current registration and good standing as a Dental Hygienist in Manitoba
• Previous experience in a fast-paced dental practice is required
• Proficiency with Oryx or similar dental software required
• Experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, or pediatrics is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Bilingual ability is considered an asset
• Previous dental assisting experience is an advantage
